BBTS presents SHO Concept Version #2

We have updated the entire website around our brand new concept which is based off the taurus concept picture. The new Taurus design is heading in a whole different direction and we are only adding ideas to an all ready amazing concept! The original picture was very blurry and was taken with a camera phone, it took some time but we have created what we think could be the next Ford Taurus SHO!!!

We hope you enjoy! You can click on the 2010 SHO Concept button in the upper left hand corner or follow the link below.

BringbacktheSHO's New 2010 Concept Gallery

Discuss the new concept in our forums

Redesigned Taurus due in late '09 as a 2010 model

While Ford CEO Alan Mulally was at the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit, he revealed that the automaker would be introducing a new Taurus sedan in late 2009 as a 2010 model. Mulally said in his speech, "The new Taurus is the one we should have made originally."

The picture that accompanies this article is a small clay model of the new redesigned Taurus. The new Taurus has been under extremely tight security. To date there has not been a leak of major information or even a spy photo.

Read more about the 2010 Taurus at Autoblog.com

Newsweek.com Ford article

Discuss the 2010 Taurus in our forums

New EcoBoost DI Turbocharged V6 tested in a '08 Taurus

Ford has recently added a video to its YouTube website that explains the new EcoBoost technology. If that was not interesting enough, at about 6:54 in the video it changes to a shot of a BMW, Cadillac and a 2008 Taurus which has the new EcoBoost 3.5. Needless to say the new EcoBoost Taurus gets up and goes!!!!

Read more about the EcoBoost Taurus at Autoblog.com

LINK to Ford's YouTube Ecoboot Taurus Video

Discuss the new Ecoboost Taurus test car in our forums
EcoBoost in TwinForce out

Ford had renamed its new Gasoline Direct Injection Turbocharged 3.5 V6 to EcoBoost. The change from the previous name "TwinForce" was made because the marketing team did not want to lead customers on that this is only a "Performance" type engine. They want to stress that this new engine will be able to get better MPG along with the performance of a V8.

Read more at Autoblog.com

Autoblog.com EcoBoost article

Discuss the new Ecoboost Taurus in our forums
